How it all started
From working in the Education sector, to providing mental health intervention remotely from Europe, I bring a wealth of experience to Psychology and Supervision work.
My story
You read correctly! I was located in Europe on and off for a couple of years, I even learnt a little German “ein bisschen Deutsch” while I was there. Despite being so far away, I explored this fantastic opportunity to hone my skills in Telehealth – and since returning to Australia, I am still working with clients 100% via phone and video call. I have provided support to people all over Australia experiencing Anxiety, including issues with Panic attacks, Depression, problems at work or study, relationship issues, stress and burn out and self harm.
Which means that I have the experience and the knowledge to provide supervision to Psychologists and Mental Health professionals wanting to continue their practise overseas. For more information about my Supervision services click here.
Whether I am working in my capacity as a Supervisor or Therapist, I am warm, empathetic, authentic and do my best to cultivate a safe space for our work together.
My approach
As a therapist, I work with people aged 16 up to 65 years old, and I pride myself in my collaborative and client-centred approach. This means I will tailor the support I give you according to your needs, and will ensure you understand why I think a certain strategy or treatment style will be effective when working with you. I am trained in many treatment styles, including Solution Focussed Brief Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Assertiveness skills training, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and Schema Therapy. I also include psychoeducation and strategies related to Polyvagal theory in my work with clients, when appropriate.

“Wisdom and freedom require the ability to allow the natural flow of emotions to come and go. Always having to prevent or suppress emotions is a form of being controlled by emotions.”
— Marsha Lineham, creator of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
